Payment

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Delta

Receipt of Order Confirmation

You will receive an order receipt confirmation email as soon as you have placed an order. Please keep it in a safe place as we may ask you for information from it in any correspondence.  If you do not receive this email please contact customerservice@okadirect.com, so that we may investigate and confirm that your order has been placed successfully.

Pricing

Prices include VAT at the new rate of 20% and exclude delivery charges unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to alter prices at any time. It may be necessary to change prices either up or down, from time to time, including any alterations to the rate of VAT.

Reproduction

OKA takes the utmost care to ensure that product information and colours are accurate. Due to the limitations of the photographic process, goods may not be exactly the same colour as shown.

Product Information

We do our very best to ensure that all items you see are as close as possible to the photographs shown, but, since they are not mass-produced, and many of them are either handmade from natural materials or hand-finished, slight variations in colour and size may occur from time to time. We hope that you understand this and appreciate the skill and craftsmanship required to make such high quality products. All products shown are subject to availability.

Returns Policy

We hope you will love your OKA purchase, but if you find it unsuitable or you’re not entirely satisfied, please notify us within 7 days by telephone of your intention to return the product(s). We ask that you return products to us unused, in their original packaging with any tamper seals intact. You will be entitled to a refund or replacement if returned products (with a completed returns form) reach us within 28 days. Please ensure that returns are packed and labelled carefully so that they are not lost or damaged in transit.

Heavy goods items can be taken away at the point of delivery free of charge, but if you subsequently decide to return the products, it may take up to 28 days for collection (40 days for more remote areas) and a charge of £50 will be made. Non-heavy goods can also be returned to any of our shops – however you will be required to provide a completed returns form before a refund or exchange is given. Please note that heavy goods cannot be returned to the shops. Please call our customer services department on 0844 815 7380 to arrange returns of heavy goods. Refunds will only be given provided we receive a completed returns form

Replacements for exchange of damaged goods will not be dispatched until the original item has been received at our warehouse

OKA do not give refunds on the following items:

• Items returned after 28 days.

• Items without a completed returns form.

• Damaged items not notified by telephone to us within 7 days.

• Curtains that have been gathered,cut or altered.

• Bespoke curtains.

• Gift Vouchers. (This does not affect your statutory rights)

Cancellation

You are entitled to cancel your contract if you wish providing you act within 7 working days of receipt of the goods.

If your order has already been dispatched please follow our returns information.

Availability

All items are subject to availability.

We will inform you as soon as possible if goods you have ordered are not available.

Liability

OKA Direct cannot accept any liability for a failure to comply with instructions specifically stated on the Website or in the catalogue. When you place an order to purchase a product from OKA Direct your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us by way of a dispatch note included when you receive your order. Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed as accepted in such dispatch note do not form part of the contract.

OKA Direct endeavours to check the accuracy of the information on this site. However, OKA Direct does not warrant that such information will be error free and the user acknowledges that information, products and services published on this web site may include inaccuracies and typological errors. If the goods do not on receipt by you substantially meet the description on this web site you are entitled to reject the goods and return them to us.

Security Policy

All OKA Direct online purchases take place in a safe environment using the latest security technology to protect our customers.

We encrypt your credit card information to ensure your transactions with us are private and protected as they travel over the internet. We accept orders only from web browsers that permit communication through Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology - this means you cannot inadvertently place an order through an unsecured connection. Most web browsers above version three support this security.

Your payment details are held in an encrypted format by our payment provider, (Secure Trading) - they are so secure even we cannot see them.

This encryption makes it virtually impossible for unauthorised parties to read any information that you send us.

The encryption technique we use is the highest standard available for e-commerce and certified by VeriSign, the world's most respected certification body for internet firms.

If you are still not convinced about the safety of shopping online, but would like to shop with us please call us on 0844 815 7380 and place your order over the phone. We are open 9am to 7.30pm - Monday to Friday and 9.30am – 2.30pm Saturday.

Privacy Policy:

Your privacy is important to us. We only use the information we collect about you carefully, lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

Information we hold:

If you have shopped with us we will hold your name, address, telephone number and email address. Credit card details are held by Commidea who is our payment provider; this is so secure we can’t even see them! We will also hold the delivery address(es) for your orders and the password information associated with your account. We also maintain a record of your product selections.

If you have requested a catalogue, entered a competition or completed feedback, we hold your name, address, telephone number, email address.

Information we use:

We use the information we hold on your records for operational purposes, for example processing your order, dealing with queries, tracking deliveries, reviewing past purchases.

Your order history enables us to tailor our product range and marketing information (e.g. promotions and special offers) to your requirements.

Any successor to OKA Direct may use your information on the same basis.

We also use the information to keep you up to date with OKA Direct: mailing new catalogues and sending emails as appropriate.

We occasionally make our postal mailing list available to carefully selected companies. If you do not want your information to be made available, please tick the relevant box when requesting your catalogue or signing up for email newsletters.

For purposes of quality control and training, calls and emails may be monitored.
